Both Jewish culture and university culture is all about having a community -a group of people that you feel comfortable with, that you share interests and backgrounds with, and that you can rely on for support and a good time. One of the main goals of Frosher on the Roof is to get a group of students together just before school starts so that you can start building a community to last for the rest of the year and beyond.

Jewish Community

There are various Jewish groups on campus, and we hope you get to know all of them. Frosher on the Roof is being hosted by Ghetto Shul, a cool place with cool students. Located at the corner of Bagg and Clark, it's a location where many Jewish Montrealers choose to spend Shabbat. We are a lively and inclusive bunch, with a passion for sustainability, spirituality, and connecting new friends!
